NexPath Telephone System Features
|
The NexPath NTS Server
is a truly revolutionary telephone system that allows small businesses to have affordable
telephone systems with large company features. In fact, many of the features found
on the NTS Server are not found on systems costing over $100,000.00! The
NTS Server is the first Computer Telephony Integrated (CTI) system to provide
access and control from a client PC Web Browser. Access and control is also available
from native Windows tools.
The NTS Server is a telephony appliance, a communications server that provides client-server telephony.
Calls can be placed in the usual manner with analog telephones. But, with Windows clients on the network,
you can place calls, review voice mail, or administer moves, adds, and changes right from your
desktop on any LAN connected PC. This is done via an elaborate network based API that is standard on all Nexpath Communications
Servers.
All network client applications programs run on Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2K systems, and access the NTS Server
via the TCP/IP network. Windows LAN clients are included with the Nexpath Server: a Dialer with voice mail access (NexDial),
an operators console program NexDirector, and a network based install
program for restoring the NTS in the event of a disk failure (NexPath InstallTool).
The NTS Server features are provided
by a NexPath designed, proprietary hardware board that interfaces the computer and the telephone. Click here for more details.
