The NexPath Telephony Server is available in two standard 19" rack mounted versions: the NTS/R and the NTS/RX. The NTS/R will accept up to 9 CBTI cards, or 27 outside lines and 45 inside lines. The NTS/RX has a capacity of up to 17 cards, or 51 outside lines x 85 inside (station) lines. The NTS/RX is shown here with a NexPath burgundy front panel. The NTS/R is supplied in a smaller black chassis.

Rack mounted systems are sold as a base system and CBTI cards are added to make the inside or outside line count what is required.

The same CBTI cards are used in all NexPath systems, so it is possible to move up from a smaller chassis to a larger one by purchasing the chassis and moving the previously purchased line (CBTI) cards.

The software for the NTS/R and NTS/RX systems is the same as for the mini-tower systems and has the same feature set and network applications.

NTS/R mid size rack systems are housed in a 19" wide x 7" high x 14" deep black chassis, and have a single 250W AT power supply. The NTS/R chassis can be rack mounted, or table top mounted. System weight is approximately 45 pounds.

The largest NTS/RX systems are housed in a standard industrial 19" wide x 8.75" high x 26" deep steel chassis with burgundy front panel, and have dual 300W hot swap power supplies. A full 17 card system (136 ports) will operate comfortably off of one 300 watt supply, so the dual supplies provide complete redundancy. System weight is approximately 75 pounds.

As with all NexPath systems, the ringing voltage and battery supply are contained on each CBTI card, so no external supply is required.
