NexPath Simple Computer Telephony Protocol
NexPath Communications Servers are shipped with a complete network interface for call control
and voice mail access. The protocol for this interface is a variation of an emerging new standard
referred to as Simple Computer Telephony Protocol. Far simpler and much more object oriented than Microsoft's
TAPI, NexPath's SCTP protocol allows desktop call control applications to be developed
in days instead of weeks or months.
A specification for the NexPath Telephony Server Interface is available for download.
